Shalom, everyone! The following is a documentary called “Falasha: The Saga of Ethiopian Jewry,” written, directed and produced by Steve Benzell. This documentary provides an overview of the history of Beta Israel, a/k/a the Ethiopian Jews, their religious practices, and customs. Also included in this documentary is rare film footage of the Beta Israel community in Ethiopia decades before their aliyah to Israel in the 1980s. This documentary is narrated by William Blacklow.
