The following is a diagram of the family of Abraham, from his father Terah to the latter’s great-grandson Jacob, based upon the accounts of the Book of Genesis (Bereshith) in the Tanakh, the Book of Jasher, and the Book of Jubilees. The Family of Abraham: From Terah to Abraham
Terah was the son of Nahor son of Serug, and Ijaska daughter of Nestag. He married:
- Firstly Edna/Amthelo, daughter of Abram and Karnebo, and had issue:
- Three sons Haran, Nahor II, and Abram (Abraham);
- Secondly Pelilah, and had issue: One son, Zoba.
Terah and his family left the land of Ur Chasdim (Ur of the Chaldees) to travel to the Land of Canaan after the destruction of the Tower of Babel.

Haran | Haran was the eldest of Terah‘s three sons. He was the twin brother of Nahor (Jasher 7:22), and had issue:

Nahor II | Nahor was the second son of Terah, and named after his grandfather. He married firstly his niece Milcah, daughter of Haran, and had issue:
