The following is a diagram of the family of Abraham, from his grandson Jacob to the latter’s great-great grandson Moses, based upon the accounts of the Book of Genesis (Bereshith) in the Tanakh, the Book of Jasher, and the Book of Jubilees. The Family of Abraham: From Jacob to Moses
Jacob was the son of Isaac son of Abraham, and Rebecca daughter of Bethuel. Jacob was the twin brother of Esau. He married:
- Firstly Leah, daughter of Laban his maternal uncle, and had issue:
- Six sons Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, and Zevulun;
- One daughter Dinah, who was the twin sister of Zevulun. (Jubilees 28:23)
- Secondly, Rachel, daughter of Laban his maternal uncle, and had issue:
- Two sons Joseph and Benjamin;
- Thirdly Zilpah, Rachel‘s handmaid, and had issue:
- Two sons Dan and Naphtali.
- Fourthly, Bilhah, Leah‘s handmaid, and had issue:
- Two sons Gad and Asher.
Jacob and his family left the land of Canaan to settle in the district of Goshen in the Land of Egypt (Mizraim) to reunite with his son Joseph who had been appointed second-in-command to the Pharaoh.

The Book of Jasher states Simeon married Dinah, however, the Book of Jubilees states he married a woman from “Mesopotamia” as his brothers (Jubilees 35:21). Please note that sexual relations between first- and second-degree relatives are now FORBIDDEN by the Torah. |
Levi | Levi was the third son of Jacob and Leah. He married Adinah/Melka daughter of Jobab son of Joktan (Jasher 45:5-6, Jubilees 35:20). The Book of Jubilees states however that Levi’s wife was one of the daughters of Aram son of Terah. Levi had issue:

Judah | Judah was the fourth son of Jacob and Leah. He married:

Dan | Dan was the first son of Zilpah, Rachel‘s handmaid, and Jacob‘s fifth son. He married Aphlaleth/Egla daughter of Chamudan the Moabite (Jasher 45:7, Jubilees 35:20), and had issue:

Naphtali | Naphtali was the second son of Zilpah, Rachel‘s handmaid, and Jacob‘s sixth son. He married Merimah/Rasu’u daughter of Amuram, “son” of Uz, son of Nahor, from the land of Haran (Jasher 45:9-11, , Jubilees 35:20), and had issue:

Gad | Gad was the first son of Bilhah, Leah‘s handmaid, and Jacob‘s seventh son. He married Uzith/Maka daughter of Amuram, son of Uz, son of Nahor, from the land of Haran (Jasher 45:9-11, Jubilees 35:20), and had issue:

Asher | Asher was the second son of Bilhah, Leah‘s handmaid, and Jacob‘s eighth son. He married:

Issachar | Issachar was the fifth son of Leah and Jacob‘s ninth son. He married Aridah/Hezaqa daughter of Jobab son of Joktan (Jasher 45:5-6, Jubilees 35:20), and had issue:

Zevulun | Zevulun was the sixth son of Leah and Jacob’s tenth son. He was the twin brother of Dinah. He married Merisha/Ni’iman daughter of Molad, son of Abida, son of Midian (Jasher 45:19-20, Jubilees 35:20), and had issue:

Dinah | Dinah was the twin sister of Zevulun and only daughter born to Jacob and Leah. She married her older brother Simeon, and had issue:

Joseph | Joseph was the first son born to Rachel, Jacob‘s 11th son. He married Asenath daughter of Potiphar the Priest of On in Egypt, and had issue:

Benjamin | Benjamin was the second son born to Rachel and Jacob‘s twelfth son. He was originally named “Ben-Oni” by Rachel who died shortly after his birth. His name was later changed by his father Jacob to “Benjamin.” He married:
